When social work major Emily Pulley began making masks for something to do during the stay-at-home order, she had no idea her efforts would have such an impact. Along with her mother, grandmother, and sister, Emily’s team has created 1,027 masks. They sold the masks and donated the proceeds to Hope and Vine, a nonprofit located in Wake Forest, N.C.
