Greetings from Meredith!
Like me, I hope you have enjoyed celebrating Meredith’s 125th anniversary. I am incredibly proud of our alma mater’s strong history and even stronger future. I hope that you will continue the celebration and exciting MEREmentum, by joining us on campus for Alumnae Reunion Weekend – May 13-15, 2016.
All alumnae, whether or not you are celebrating a 5 year class reunion, are invited to join us this year to mark our 125th Anniversary. It is a great time to see your big sisters, little sisters, and classmates, teammates, and friends from whatever years!
There will be some special additions to this year’s Reunion schedule that you will not want to miss. In particular, we’ll have affinity gatherings for alumnae athletes, teachers and Wings graduates on Saturday morning. The State of the College featuring remarks from Dr. Jo Allen ’80 will highlight Meredith’s academic year and plans for our STRONG future, including updates on Beyond Strong The Campaign for Meredith. Friday evening’s Courtyard Party will once again feature the sounds of Band of Oz. And on Sunday, Gloria Boyd Johnson ’80 will serve as our speaker during the Worship Service, which will also feature an Alumnae Choir.
It’s an exciting year for Meredith, and we hope all alumnae will return home for Reunion Weekend to celebrate 125 years of Going Strong. On line registration for all on campus events is now open. To register online, please click here.

Hey there. Is Friday night for Alumnae only or are family invited to this, as well? I’m class of ’92.
Hi, Jennifer –
The reunion class party on Friday night is open to guests of alumnae who register and pay the $25 fee. However, since alcohol will be served, no one under the age of 21 is permitted to attend.

I am a WINGS alum from the class of 1996, and am looking forward to this 20th reunion.
Would you please tell me what the Golden Oaks Society Luncheon is? And who it is for? This is not a group I am familiar with.

We look forward to seeing you in May! The Golden Oaks Luncheon honors the class celebrating its 50th reunion as they are inducted into the Golden Oaks Society. All other previously inducted classes are invited to attend, as well.
