Meredith College Summer Camps

If you are looking for summer programs for younger children, Meredith offers a variety of summer camps, including academic, arts, and athletic options.

A new camp being offered this summer is the Meredith College Summer Math CAMMP (Comprehensively Applied Math Manipulatives Program) for elementary girls. Open to rising first grade through rising fifth grade girls, Meredith’s Summer Math CAMMP will feature fun and educational hands-on activities that incorporate Math, Engineering and Technology. The camp will run July 21-25, 2014, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. – noon. Cost is $250, including lunch in Meredith’s dining hall.

Students will:
• enhance the understanding of mathematics;
• connect to real world applications with a social science integration;
• use analytical skills to build and program machines and robots;
