Greetings from the Office of Admissions!
I hope all of you are having a relaxing summer. I can’t believe it’s July already! I wanted to provide an update for alumnae and share some initiatives for the fall semester. During Alumnae Reunion Weekend in May, I conducted a training session for several alumnae who are interested in assisting our admissions counselors at college fairs this travel season. These alumnae were trained and educated about college fairs, what to expect at the fairs, and how to best engage with students they meet. Our admissions counselors will be hitting the road soon to recruit for the next class and we are excited for the opportunity to utilize our alumnae in our recruitment efforts!
Discover Meredith, a day for alumnae to bring prospective students to campus, will be held on Saturday, October 19. Stay tuned for more information!
A “Fall Alumnae Recruitment Focus Week” will also take place this fall where alumnae will contact prospective students in targeted areas in order to build our applicant pool for next year.
