Alumnae Book Club is back!

The Meredith College Alumnae Book club will be starting up for the 2012-2013 season in September. Below you’ll find a complete listing of this year’s books as well as the meeting locations for each book club.  All meeting will begin with a social time at 6:30 and the discussion will start at 7pm.  We hope to see you there!

September 18 – 11/22/63: A Novel by Stephen King – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room

October 16 – South of Broad by Pat Conroy – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room

November 13 – You Can’t Go Home Again by Thomas Wolfe – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room

December 11 – A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room

January 15 – Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilence, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room

February 19 – The Paris Wife by Paula McLain – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room

March 19 – In the Garden of Beasts:  Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler’s Berlin by Erik Larson – Meet in 144 Martin (old Hunter bldg)

April 9 – Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room

May 21 – Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck – Meet in the Chapel Commons Room
