Fall into Meredith Events!

Even though it’s still hot outside, it’s not too early to be thinking ahead to fall at Meredith and all of the ‘cool’ events we have scheduled for Alumnae.  Please visit the Alumnae Calendar tab on the blog by clicking here to see a listing of our upcoming events.

I’m proud to announce that this year we’re going to be starting a brand new Lunch & Learn (L&L) series.  Below you can find a full schedule for the L&L series which will feature the talents and expertise of faculty, staff, students and alumnae.  Three L&L’s are planned for  this fall and another four in the spring.

This fall we’re having a summer reading program lecture featuring Dr. Deborah Tippett, an election information/Q&A session featuring Dr. Clyde Frazier and a holiday decorating/tablescape session featuring our alumna Jo Dermid, ’64 (owner of Graceful Tables, an event and design business).  All of the L&Ls will be in the Raleigh area; some on campus and some in local restaurants.  If all goes well this year,  we’re hoping to expand them to other areas next year!

Alumnae Lunch & Learn Series

Please make plans to attend the 2012-2013 Alumnae Lunch & Learn Series!  Join fellow alumnae for lunch as we hear from current faculty, staff, students and alumnae on various topics.
