The Meredith Colton English Club invites you to join us for two upcoming babysitting fund-raising events. All funds raised in both of the following events will go toward building a playground at a local elementary school in Cahal Pech, Belize, Faith Nazarene School. Meredith College began a partnership with Faith Nazarene School last March when a group of Meredith College students, staff, faculty traveled to the area on a spring break service trip.
Given our love for all things Seuss, your presence is a must. Reading, math, songs, and crafts—oh, what a night of fun, Don’t forget green eggs and ham—and cake for everyone! Need a really fun event for your kids while you enjoy your Valentines weekend?

For the entire month of February, the Colton English Club is offering up to four hours of babysitting from Meredith’s finest upper level students in efforts to raise money for the Faith Nazarene School playground in Cahal Pech, Belize. All babysitters have gone through a background check and most know CPR; just ask for a list of the sitters’ credentials if you have any specific needs! In exchange for their time, we are asking that you donate to our efforts to raise money for the playground project. While any amount is appreciated, a suggested rate might be $10/hr. All donations are tax-deductible; checks can be made out to Meredith College.
