Study Abroad Reflection, Sarah Terrell, ’12

My Meredith College study abroad trip to Italy and Switzerland was one of the most rewarding and exciting experiences of my life.  This trip meant so much to me and I am so grateful that I was able to see all of the wonders of Italy and Switzerland.  Rome, Milan, Venice, Anghiari, Arezzo, Assisi, Cinque Terre, and Florence will always be a part of me – I was able to visit towns and monuments that most people only dream about.  Spending time in Sansepolcro was amazing – it is such a charming town full of great food, wonderful people and beautiful buildings.   I loved every minute we spent in Sansepolcro, our home away from home.  Having the opportunity to hike the Swiss Alps was a truly amazing experience; the sights and sounds of the alps will stick with me forever.  I will always cherish the memories I made while abroad.  With the skills and lessons learned while traveling through Italy and Switzerland, I am now ready to take on the rest of the world.   – Sarah Terrell, ’12
