The Class of 1926 celebrated its Golden Anniversary in 1976 with props and laughter. These students were the first to graduate at “New Meredith,” having started college in 1922 at the original downtown campus. The January 1926 move gave them just a few months on this campus before graduation.
Alumnae Reunion Weekend 2011 is quickly approaching! On Friday May 13th, we’re expecting to welcome more than 450 angels back to campus for their big weekend. For more information on Alumnae Reunion Weekend 2011, please click here.
All alumnae are invited to attend Reunion Weekend, but those classes ending in a 1 or 6 will be celebrating a special class reunion. The last day to register over the phone or online is Wednesday May 11th.
Festivities will begin on Friday afternoon at the Class of 1961 and Golden Oaks Society Tea. Members of the Golden Oaks Society are invited to honor the Class of 1961 as they are inducted into the Golden Oaks Society. Friday evening, alumnae and friends are invited to dance the night away at the cocktail reception located at the Massey House. Saturday will be a full day on campus and include: the Annual Meeting and Alumnae Awards, class luncheon, the alumnae market, afternoon sessions, class meetings and class photos. Saturday evening was open for individual class activities. On Sunday, alumnae are invited to participate in the worship service followed by a brunch.
