Alumnae Spotlight

Each year around 400 Meredith students walk across McIver amphitheater and receive their diplomas.  Suddenly they become graduates and join the sisterhood of nearly 19,000 alumnae.  Meredith College is fortunate to have an exceptionally talented and driven group of alumnae.  Our alumnae have gone on to be screen writers, foster parents, actresses and graphic designers.  They have opened medical clinics, raced through Alaska, worked in National Security and spent time starting theater companies in London.  Whether they stay right here in Raleigh or move half way across the world, it can be said that Meredith College has some of the most successful and interesting alumnae.  Be sure to check out the ‘Alumnae Spotlight’ to see what just a few of them have been up to.

This month’s spotlight features Martha Anderson Dobson, ’81 who was chosen as the Target® 2011 Iditarod Teacher on the Trail™.   To read more about her journey through Alaska, click here.

If you would like to nominate an outstanding alumna for the spotlight, please email us at alumnaeblog@meredith.edu.
