On January 25th, U.S. News and World Report ranked Meredith College as one of the the top 20 most popular Liberal Arts Colleges in the United States.
“One of the best indicators of a school’s popularity among students is the school’s yield–the percentage of applicants accepted by a college who end up enrolling at that institution in the fall. The figures in these tables are from the fall 2009 entering class and show the students that were accepted, the students that enrolled, and the admit yield. The table highlights the most popular liberal arts colleges, which are schools that place an emphasis on undergraduate education and award at least 50 percent of their degrees in the liberal arts,” according to U.S. News and World Report.
